Summary
The software solutions for the AI chip design contain (1) architectural static performance analysis technology, (2) full-system virtual platform and (3) neural network compiler. The static performance analysis technology can be used for architecture exploration of the AI accelerator and AI System-on Chip. The electronic system level (ESL) virtual platform supports fast simulation for end-to-end AI applications. Neural network compiler provides a holistic software framework for vendor specific AI accelerators. It aims to provide a bridge between the deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow) and the AI hardware accelerator (deep learning accelerator), boosting the AI performance with ITRI graph optimization and heterogeneous compiler runtime technologies.
◆Our goal is to speed up the development of AI chip industry by promoting the AI SoC software solution and facilitating more collaborations between industry parties to build AI chip design ecosystem. ITRI has been collaborating with leading customers worldwide to help them create innovative AI SoC solutions for smart factory, embedded computer vision and AIoT devices.
