Facilitate the circulation and utility of intellectual property.
In 2008, TWTM has effectively linked up a total of about 60 suppliers of technology from the industry and academic circle of Taiwan, and recruited more than 3000 patents. Besides, these more than 3,000 patents are conducted of value-added evaluation by “intellectual property rights service alliance” made up of more than 17 establishments of technology service houses. On the other hand, it has sponsored two nation-wide patent transfer and specialized bidding activity for licensing, many theme-based patent/technology business negotiation meeting, and 2008 Taipei International Invention Show&Technomart. It is hoped that these diversified marketing and promotional events can facilitate effective circulation and use of intellectual property from Taiwan. To the moment, it has helped conclude more about 232 cases of patent circulation with its major and minor platform jointly created by project and technology service establishments, with more than NT$0.4 billion of industrial investment effect generated.
Furthermore, TWTM has also created many items of achievements, such as it has developed online evaluation software for patent so that the general public can conduct preliminary reference when they evaluate a patent. In addition, a total of 178 of institutes from domestic industry, official, and academic circle as well as participants from the US, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Hungary are were invited to 2008 Taipei International Invention Show&Technomart, and more than 940 items of patents/ technology are demonstrated. At the same time, nearly 100 technical and business presentations and negotiation meetings were held, and there were about 80,000 frequencies of visitors of approximately 2,000 cases of business opportunities.
